They’re in the air, they’re on the ground, they’re always in control!

OK, pause the corny touchdown music. Well, it’s been a few years since we have consistently heard that tune. We haven’t been able to proudly play it because: #1 We only play that song when we score and we haven’t been scoring. #2 We haven’t even been in a Super Bowl in about 25 years and we haven’t won a Super Bowl in more than 35 years, so “When you say Miami, you’re (not) talking Super Bowl”. Will we win a Super Bowl? No, not this year. But, this team is heading in the right direction both offensively and defensively. If the loose ends on OL, LB, special teams etc get tied up, we are looking at a contender. This team could have won 13 this year though admittedly there were a few close games that could have gone the other way as well. 11 wins ain’t no joke! Win or lose today, this has been a great season.

We had the greatest turnaround in NFL history from 1 win to 11, the 2nd place MVP (Pennington), the Ronnie and Ricky show, likely Coach of the Year, the NFL season sack leader, and the Tuna (who should get the credit for turning this thing around) looking to buy the squad from H Wayne Huizenga. This team and the fans have a lot to be proud of, win or lose today. Unfortunately, I am at work so I will have to listen to the game on the radio, but that’s better than nothing.

During the game I hope I get to hear plenty of music…”Yes we’re the Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins #1. We’re the Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins #1!”
